The 10th international conference on ATTD(Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes) is held in Paris on February 17th. PixoTest Blood Glucose Monitoring System(PixoTest BGMS) is presented by Dr. Freckmann and Nina Jendrike from IDT(Institute of Diabetes-Technology), demonstrating the quality of the novel technology.
Last July, research from IDT showed that PixoTest BGMS got 98% accuracy. It’s the first technology that utilizes the front camera of the smartphone to analyze user’s blood glucose level. Moreover, its performance meets the requirement of ISO 15197:2013! The research soon be published by IDT. This year, the innovation was presented on ATTD, an annual international conference gathering the experts and researchers of diabetes worldwide, in the session “ACCURACY EVALUATION OF A NOVEL SYSTEM FOR SMARTPHONE-COUPLED BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITORING”.
